Spectators Policy
Due to safety concerns, spectators are not allowed on the golf course during the peak season and/or heavy play.
At the discretion of Palatine Hills management, spectators would be allowed during off-peak and off-season periods.
In these instances, a cart fee will be charged and special instructions would need to be followed. Requests must be made prior to arriving at the course and are handled on a day-to-day basis. No one under the age of 8 will be allowed on the course as a spectator.
Age Requirements
Junior golfers ages 8-11 years-old are allowed to play but must be accompanied by a paying adult. It is recommended that children of this age play during off-peak periods. Contact the pro shop for helpful information regarding these times.
The minimum age to rent and drive a golf cart is 18 years old. Proof of age may be required by golf course staff.
Pace of Play
Groups are expected to maintain an interval of no more than 1/2 hole or be on a pace to play each 9 in 2 hrs 5 min. Rangers are on the course to assist groups in meeting this goal by raking bunkers, spotting balls, and tending flagsticks. After sufficient warning, rangers are authorized to manage the flow of play by having slower players skip holes or play from different tees in order to improve their pace of play and get back into position. If necessary, slower players may be removed from the golf course. Please respect the game and your fellow players by maintaining a proper pace of play.
Rain Checks
If rain or inclement weather interferes with play, a pro-rated credit will be issued for 18 hole, 9 hole, and riding cart fees.
Rain checks are not issued for Twilight rounds started after 5pm.
